You are invited to participate in this online research survey entitled ‘Assessment of self-reported gastrointestinal distress as a function of running kinematics in endurance runners.’ You are included in this survey because you are an endurance runner and older than 18 years old. You may be eligible to participate if you meet the following criteria:
 18 years or older
 Run distances greater than 3km (1.9 mi) at a time
 Run for greater than or equal to (≥) 4 days per week

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary. If you do not wish to participate in this survey, do not respond to this online survey. Completing this survey indicates that you are voluntarily giving consent to participate in the survey.

The purpose of this research study is to understand the association between running style and the prevalence of GI distress related symptoms.

There are no risks or discomforts associated with this survey. There may be no direct benefit to you; however, by participating in this study, you may help us understand important factors related to GI distress in endurance runners.
Your response will be completely anonymous and kept confidential. We will store the data in a secure computer file and the file will destroyed once the data has been published. Any part of the research that is published as part of this study will not include your individual information.
